Bessersauber operates a leading car wash chain in Germany and Austria. In 2006 the company installed an AYUS fitting at its most efficient and modern location in Bischofshofen, Austria. Even though the location already had a highly effective and up-to-date plumbing system, it achieved dramatic improvements, including:

• Water heating costs dropped by 21% in one year because the water temperature can be reduced from 60C to 47C and provide the same cleaning results.
• The use of detergent and water softening chemicals has been reduced, which provides additional savings.
• The expected service life of heating equipment, pumps and plumbing fixtures has increased significantly.
